Acoustic – Nu Jazz -Nordic – World Jazz

This band was formed by Angela Puxi and Volker Dorsch a.k.a. Climatic.
Coming from soul-jazz, as well as the traditional music of Sardinia, the land of her ancestors, Puxi stands for the unfussy, straight-forward approach for this project. Her tone is powerful yet lyrical, what makes for the perfect symbiosis with Volker Dorsch, a prodigy of atmospheric soundscapes from Cologne.
Initially started as a duo, the band has become extended by guest percussionists like Ramesh Shotham at the Düren Jazz Festival. For this band, they have written an exclusive repertiore of own compositions and song-arrangements, swinging between mediterranean and nordic folk/pop influences.
Currently, a longplayer is in the making, so keep an eye on them !
